A bientôt.

Jacques Ould-Aoudia, repentant economist, committed, researcher, author, photographer.

I consider myself a "repentant economist" after a professional life of economic studies and research at the Ministry of Finance (Paris), the Directorate of Forecasting and then the Treasury, until 2011.I am pursuing research in the political economy of development; On the march of societies in the South and on the relations between North and South in a multidisciplinary approach. I have published many academic articles and two books " Growth and Reforms in mediterranean Arab countries " Ed. AFD, 2008. And " SUD ! L’Harmattan, 2018. In 2003, I joined the Migrations & Développement  (M&D) association, an NGO founded in 1986 by Moroccan migrants living and working in the south of France.I am totally in the association's approach : to support the desires for change of the populations of Souss Massa, the region of Morocco where the founders of the association came from and the area where the association intervene. Its main areas of work : support for the autonomy of women and young people, participatory democracy, migrants rights.  Agroecology, environmental protection (hydro-agroecology), the rapprochement between the two shores of the Mediterranean with the Moroccan diaspora and the "diaspora of hearts". I walk around as a photographer wherever my steps lead me. Including in my familiar places in Paris, Marrakech, Rabat, Agadir, on the Massif du Siroua. And in many other places of the world, south and north. I share on this site texts and photographs, expressions of my questioning, my curious looks, my angers or my laughter about the world as it goes (not really well).Don't hesitate to comment on texts and photos on the site. I will respond to all comments (if they are signed). See you soon.
